The loose Cannon was formed in 2006, taking over from a company which used the huge halls for Christmas party's. It is common for the venue's magnificent arches to capture the imagination of many - but it caught Mr Roy Houghton's more than most. Roy Houghton saw the potential of the venue and found that it's versatile characteristics could be moulded to almost anything. Roy was soon organising an array of events from pasta parties and wine tastings to gaming events.

In the last three years the Loose Cannon has built upon the venue's reputation through its increasingly varied types of events held throughout the year. Long gone are the days when the lights were only turned on at christmas time. In our time here we have added staff with vast experience in all aspects of event organisation. With Roy (Director), Sonny (Director), Sammy (Head chef), Tomek (Bar manager) and the rest of the Loose Cannon team, your event really is in safe hands.
