The Loose Cannon is only a five minute walk from Cannon Street or Monument, or a ten minute walk from Bank or Mansion House station. It's located next to the Dowgate Fire Station on Allhallows Lane, off Upper Thames Street.

From Cannon Street

As you exit the station turn left onto Dowgate Hill. Walk down until you reach Upper Thames Street. Cross over the road at the crossing under Cannon Bridge and take your first right onto Allhallows Lane.

From Monument Station

Take the Cannon Street exit from the tube station, walking along the subway. Once you get to ground level at the Cannon St exit, walk to your left and take your first right onto Albert Street. Walk down Albert Street and turn right onto Lower Thames Street. Walk along until you reach the crossing just past Nomura building, Cross over and Allhallows lane is on your left just after the Fire Station and before you pass under Cannon Bridge.

From Bank Station

Go to exit 7 (Mansion House exit). Walk down Walbrook and continue onto Dowgate Hill until you reach Upper Thames Street. Cross at the crossing under the bridge and take your first right onto Allhallows Lane.

By Car

If you're coming by car in the evening and on the weekend parking in some of the roads off Cannon Street is possible. Such as: Bush Lane and Suffolk Lane or Dowgate Hill, College Hill and Queen Street. Check with the City of London for restrictions and details.

For convenience, the nearest car park is a few minutes walk away on Bell Wharf Lane. This NCP car park is called the Vintry and is fairly expensive, so be warned.

The more reasonably priced car park at Tower Hill, Lower Thames Street, opposite Sugar Quay is around a ten to fifteen minute walk away, and it has lower rates and a flat rate during evenings and weekends. From the car park, walk along Lower Thames Street, or along the river passing Old Billingsgate to reach AllHallows Lane.
